No combination of three darts adds up to 162 while ending on a double. It is not a matter of skill — the arithmetic does not exist.

Score down to a number you can finish rather than chasing it. Leaving yourself 40, 32 or 36 is worth more than a heroic attempt at a number that cannot be closed.
